While we continue teaching out of our much-loved original studio, we are currently building a new studio space, which we will move into in February

Kingfield Pilates operates out of our South Minneapolis craftsman home. While we have loved our original basement studio spaces that we created in 2016, the success of the business over the past five years has been such that we wanted to provide clients with more equipment options and a bit more space.

Construction on the new studio is racing along. The new space will be located on the back of our home and will include new studio and welcome spaces with eight-foot ceilings and lots of windows, along with a new powder room. The space will include lots of special touches—slate, marble, and wood flooring, along with lighting from Rejuvenation Hardware, and more—that together will provide an appealing oasis for our clients.

In terms of equipment, our studio will continue to feature state-of-the-art Balanced Body Pilates equipment: reformer with Infinity Bar and Jump Board, Cadillac Trapeze table (which converts to second reformer), two Springboard wall units, EXO Chair with slastics, Ladder Barrel, Arc Barrels and Barre, mats, rollers, physic balls and lots of other helpful props.

The home-based Kingfield Pilates studio space is the perfect size for the single-class focus we have adopted. Big studios have their appeal, but we are happy to offer an alternative for those who don’t love trying to share space with other teachers and classes, and prefer a bit of a come-as-you-are atmosphere in a beautiful environment that is ideally suited for the private, focused workouts that our customers love.
